FC Emmen won a spectacular match at Jong Ajax on Monday evening, 4-6. The Amsterdam team took an early lead twice through Diego Pugno and Emre Ünüvar, but Emmen restored the balance before halftime via Jack Cooper-Love and Nelson Amadin. After the break, Freddy Quispel and Cooper-Love put the visitors ahead. Ünüvar brought Jong Ajax back to 4-5, but Cooper-Love completed his hat-trick and decided the match. Jong Ajax has now lost both games this season.
Jong AZ also secured an away win, beating De Graafschap 2-5 at De Vijverberg. Julian Oerip opened the scoring for the visitors, while Donny Warmerdam equalized. After the break, Bendegúz Kovács, Rio Robbemond and twice Ayoub Oufkir scored for Jong AZ. Bjorn van Zijl’s goal was insufficient for De Graafschap, which is still waiting for its first victory.
